A Passion for Media and Small Business
As a fellow small business owner, I understand the challenges and aspirations that drive entrepreneurs like you.
My journey began in retail, but my true passion lay in camera work—a legacy from my father, who captured our family memories on cine film. With hard-earned money, I acquired a second-hand National Panasonic VHS camera, launching my foray into shooting social videos and friends’ weddings.
Television Ventures
Soon after, fate intervened.
A local newspaper advertised a ‘Trainee Cameraman’ position at the regional TV station, and I seized the opportunity.
Learning on the job, I swiftly transitioned to producing commercials, documentaries, shopping segments, training videos, corporate reports, and nightly news.
From Broadcast to Business
My tenure in regional TV broadcast media spanned a decade.
Seeking fresh challenges, I shifted gears into sales, exploring print and online media. Eventually, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to establish my own Multimedia Business in 2000—an all-encompassing solution for business marketing and promotion.
Simultaneously, I maintained my passion for broadcast television, nurturing industry connections. Since 2005, I’ve freelanced with major networks across Australia (ABC, 7, 9, 10, FOX), contributing to news, current affairs, and major sports coverage (AFL, Cricket, Tennis, Tour Down Under, A-League).
